The amplifier boasts impressive performance with unmatched SNR, DNR performance, and ultra-low harmonic distortion in the output. It maintains noise levels of under 35uVrms in low-gain mode and under 80uVrms in high-gain mode. The resulting output is super clean and lively.
High-Voltage Output Swing
Electrostatic headphones require high-voltage output swings to sound their best. Topping EHA5 delivers an immensely powerful output with a remarkable 700Vrms and 2000Vp-p output swing. This immense power allows for easy and clean driveability of your EST headphones. The amplifier has dual gain modes with 30.9dB gain in low-gain mode and 44.9dB gain in high-gain mode.
12V Trigger Interface & PassThrough Function
Topping EHA5 supports a 12V Trigger interface. When connected with suitable devices, EHA5 features seamlessly on/off switching. Once you turn on any one of the devices in the chain, all others connected via the 12V interface get turned on automatically as well. The Topping EHA5 also has a pass-through function when not in use, It provides signal pass-through to further devices in the chain even when the EHA5 is not even turned on.
